Why should we drink Tea?

Does Tea increases alertness?

Tea contains tannins: are they bad?

The main cause of confusion concerning tea tannins is that they are often mistaken to be associated with tannnic acid which is used for tanning leather. However this is false. Tea tannins are polyphenolic compounds that have antioxidant property.
